This vase is ideal for a few stems of lilies, gladioli or daffodils in the spring.
Once thrown on the wheel, the base is then turned (shaped) with criss-cross lines incised in to it to add texture. The rim has a contrasting thin line of mustard yellow applied to it. The finished surface is semi-matt with and pleasingly tactile.
